3. Disposal of needles in Germany
Please note: MedExpress currently does not supply sharps containers in Germany.
Recommended procedure:
1. Remove the needle after use and place it in a designated disposal container.
- These are available at every pharmacy.
- Alternatively, you can use a clear hard plastic container with a safety lid.
2. When the container is full:
- Close it tightly
- Do not open it again
- Dispose of it securely with household waste
- Many pharmacies also accept full disposal containers back
Note: Safe disposal is important to avoid injuries and health risks.
