Use this article to find out about delivery destinations, shipping options, packaging standards and the handling of medicines that must be kept refrigerated when ordering through MedExpress Germany.
Delivery Destinations
MedExpress operates exclusively within Germany:
Germany only: Deliveries are made exclusively to valid delivery addresses within Germany. Shipping to other EU countries or to international destinations is currently not possible.
Delivery Options and Delivery Times
Delivery is carried out by our logistics partner DHL:
Standard delivery: Delivery within 1–3 working days of dispatch. Delivery is free of charge.
Express delivery: Delivery on the next working day after dispatch via DHL Express. A charge applies (the exact cost is shown at checkout).
Note: The delivery time begins once your prescription has been reviewed and approved by an EU-licensed doctor and dispatched by the pharmacy. For certain treatments, such as weight loss medicines, additional safety checks may be required before the prescription is issued.
Discreet Shipping & Temperature-Controlled Transport
We place the highest priority on privacy and medical safety for all deliveries:
Discreet packaging: All orders are sent in neutral packaging with no logos, brand marks or external indication of the contents.
EU partner pharmacies: Dispensing and direct shipping are carried out in cooperation with officially licensed EU partner pharmacies, in accordance with EU requirements for cross-border healthcare.
Injectable weight loss medicines:
Mounjaro®: Delivered in discreet standard packaging. Based on the manufacturer's stability testing and EMA approval, Mounjaro® remains safe and effective at temperatures below 30 °C for up to 72 hours during transport and does not always necessarily need active cooling during delivery. Nevertheless, store the medicine in the fridge at 2–8 °C once received, and do not freeze it.
Wegovy®: Delivered in discreet standard packaging. Based on the manufacturer's stability testing and EMA approval, Wegovy® remains safe and effective at temperatures below 30 °C for up to 48 hours during transport and does not always necessarily need active cooling during delivery. Nevertheless, store the medicine in the fridge at 2–8 °C once received, and do not freeze it.
Tracking Your Delivery
Dispatch confirmation: Once your parcel has been handed over to DHL, you will receive a dispatch confirmation email. Once your parcel has been registered with DHL, the dispatch confirmation email will contain your tracking number and a tracking link so you can follow the status of your delivery in real time.
No tracking number in the dispatch confirmation: Your tracking number and tracking link will appear in your dispatch confirmation email once your parcel has been registered with DHL. Registration with DHL can take up to 24 hours after you receive the dispatch confirmation. Please check your dispatch confirmation email again within this time.
